2020 brought a lot of challenges. There were many hurdles adapting to living through a pandemic. Wedding plans were reimagined and rescheduled, in some cases many times. It was hard for my couples to let go of the plans they made for such a special occasion. This was not easy, and I applaud them all for doing what was right so everyone could stay safe and healthy.
This year, I kept seeing that love prevails.
Whether it was their Plan A or Plan Z, vows of marriage were still exchanged. Joy was not banished.
Life has been anything but normal, and my hope for 2020 was that I meet more couples looking to get married in places special to them. And that is exactly what I saw take place when wedding events, venues, and locations had to be changed. With events being simplified there was more intentionality put into every detail of the day. Creating space for more moments to be cherished and fully experienced.
I don’t have large goals or ambitions for 2021. I am just extremely grateful for my health, my family, and the clients who trust me and continued to trust me with their wedding plans. Thank you.
