In 2018 I focused on photographing home. Whatever that was to each of my couples. In the arms of whom they loved most, surrounded by family, or intimately alone in front of a waterfall. In 2019 I took that further and focused on photographing couples on their “best day ever”. I've been so honored to help couples bring to reality what that means to them. It’s been rewarding pioneering a new way for my couples to celebrate their wedding day.
I focused on offering photography for PNW Adventure Weddings and Elopements. I wanted to empower couples who might choose a different type of wedding day from the norm. It’s okay if your best day ever isn't a traditional wedding event. You can make the rules for how you want to say your vows and spend your day together. Make it truly the best day ever for YOU!
It's brave to create a day to say your vows that is truly unique to your relationship. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again. For my clients, there is authenticity in having an adventure wedding. The locations for their elopement are meaningful to their relationship. I enjoy helping my couples find locations that are meaningful to them, so when they look back at their photos, every part of the image tells their story.
I believe in this so much, that I spent the beginning of my wedding season having a promo video filmed. It was one of the highlights of my year! If you haven’t seen it, please watch it here.
My hope for 2020 is that I meet more couples looking to get married in places special to them.
