Gretta & Tim | Gold Creek Pond Elopement

Planning this elopement wedding with Gretta & Tim has been such a joy. Their desire was to have a romantic and intimate ceremony with their immediate family, followed by hiking just the two of them as their first act as husband and wife. The concept of an adventure wedding was unique to their family, but once everyone arrived to witness the ceremony at Gold Creek Pond, everyone truly understood how special this was. During their vows there was lots of giggling, and tears, it was such a genuinely beautiful declaration of their love and commitment to each other.

After a champagne toast with their family, everyone said good bye and headed back to dinner at their nearby cabin. Gretta and Tim then were ready to lace up their hiking boots and hike through the woods to Franklin Falls with me for some epic wedding portraits!

During the alpenglow in snoqualmie pass, they had their first dance in the mountains. I kept hearing them exclaim to each other, “this is the best day ever!” And I have to agree, it really was the perfect day.
