Guiding Alicia & David along a forested trail, as the rain continued to fall, I wasn't sure how they would react to seeing the falls. It was their first visit to the PNW for their elopement wedding ceremony at TreeHouse Point. And their first act as a married couple was to go on a hike with me for their adventurous wedding portraits. I hoped they would be in awe and that it would all be worth hiking in the rain on their wedding day! When the trail finally came to a spot that you could not only hear the roaring, but see the falls, they were in awe. So was I, it doesn't matter how familiar I may be with a trail, it's still always new, and breathtaking. Alicia said this was the most exciting thing they had ever done. What a perfect way to start off a marriage, and honeymoon in the Pacific Northwest. This is why I love elopements, this is why I love hiking with my couples. Adventure weddings make my heart swoon.
