This was a wonderful day. Karly & Peter had their engagement session at Cape Disappointment State Park. We started at North Head Lighthouse, and ventured on from there. It was windy and bright, clouds rolling in and out throughout the day. Karly has spent every summer on the beaches in Ilwaco, lost in a novel, or hearing stories from her grandmother about their family history. This place was so much more than a beautiful location, but has a history that I was so delighted to hear about, as I got to spend time photographing this truly lovely couple. I'm excited for their October wedding.
