In July I vacationed in Italy, England, and France to celebrate my 5 year wedding anniversary. Here you can find Part I (Positano) Part II (Rome) Part III (Florence) Part IV (Chianti) Part V (Venice) and Part VI (England).
This was our last stop during our month in Europe. After photographing a wedding in Bristol England, we stayed in London for a few days before taking the Eurostar into Paris. We stayed at Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais, a boutique hotel in Paris. Our room had a terrace, and we could look out onto the city and rooftops. It was the perfect place to relax, drink coffee, and eat pain au chocolat.
Our favorite meals were just buying fresh fruits, cheese, a baguette from the market, and with a bottle of wine, we would picnic at the Eiffel Tower, or the Place de Vogues.
The gardens in Paris are filled with art, and are beautiful. I wish I could have spent more time browsing through books, and journalling at Shakespeare and Company, in the Latin Quarter.
At night, we would walk along the Seine, watching people dance, and play music, it’s truly magical at night. We would grab a glass of bubbly, and find late night crepe shops.
