Amanda & Jacob’s Wedding | Pickering Barn, Issaquah

Amanda & Jacob's winter wedding day was so enchanting. Amanda has been planning the barn wedding of her dreams for over a year. When this couple set the date for a December winter wedding, they carefully thought out a wonderful ceremony and reception for their guests to enjoy. This including a lot of their favorite things! Holiday food, and Christmas decor. There was a hint to Harry Potter for those in the know, the Bride's shoes have the Marauder's Map illustrated on them, the music she walked down the aisle to was orchestral music from the movies, and their rings were carried in one of the novels. This alone is one of the many reasons I love Amanda & Jacob (Amanda's love for Harry Potter came up in the first email she sent to me to request wedding photography, and I knew it was meant to be). The Barn was so gorgeous decked out with twinkling lights, stacks of logs decorated with holly, and candlelight. It was a magical ceremony backdrop, perfect for their wedding.
