Julie & John's Wedding | Roche Harbor Resort, San Juan Isand

I’ve been looking forward to photographing Julie & John’s destination wedding at Roche Harbor Resort, all year! Their wedding day was such a adventure. I woke up early giving myself plenty of time to travel by Ferry to San Juan Island. It reminded me of their engagement session, but unlike their engagement portraits, it was a clear, sunny, bright day.

One of the reasons I love Julie & John, is that they care about their people. As wonderful as the details of their wedding day were (the flowers are incredible!), watching them interact with their friends, and give praise to the vendors who they cared about was truly special and genuine. Plus, I always have fun hanging out with them and the dance party at their reception was no exception! It was my first visit to this beautiful place in the Northwest and it won’t be my last.
